Manufactured by Samuel Hollins' factory, ca. 1790-1800, this extremely scarce example, beautifully coloured, is offered in surprisingly remarkable condition, minor chip to scallop.. Some wear to the silver band decoration around the top of the body and the finial. The body colour is a rich marron red, with a silver finish to the finial, lid rim, and body.The edge of the body with a scalloped finish. A very rare collector's item of good proportion, a rare find. Stamped 'S.HOLLINS' to the base. 12cm in height and 10cm diameter.
