Exceptional Late 19th/Early 20th Century Brass Eastern Casket Superb craftsmanship and intricate detailing make this a truly decorative chest. Although the original key is not present, the lock adds an authentic touch. The inner tray features compartments and fretted lids, enclosed by highly decorative pierced brass work. Swing open the hinged lid using the brass handle. While one inner strut is detached but included, the other supports the lid when raised. The inner tray is removable, revealing a deep, recessed space. A quality piece with character and charm.
