A 19th century Spode porcelain potpourri, fitted two gilded handles, painted and gilded in the Imari palette, painted factory mark in red to base, ''Spode 967,'' 23 cm high.
 
Condition: Chips to the cover, particularly to the underside; gilt wear to handles; scratches / blemishes to the pot; gilt wear to the foot rim. Although, from a decorative aspect, this impressive piece displays itself very well indeed.
